The Episcopal City was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site in July 2010 and has held onto its ancient layout with highlights including:
- the Old Bridge,
- fortifications along the Tarn,
- Palais de la Berbie and the impressive Sainte-Cécile Cathedral, a huge brick beacon standing over the Tarn.
Tarn Valley
The Tarn Valley winds along the river over rolling landscapes which you can explore with a dip in the river or a hike.
