Luc-la-Primaube

In the Rodez Agglomeration, Luc-La-Primaube offers a peaceful living environment between town and country, with new districts and a diversity of activities.

Luc-la-Primaube is a gateway to the Rodez area when you come in from Toulouse and couldn’t be better placed. After building the RN 88 motorway diversion and La Brienne viaduct providing a direct link with Olemps next door, new districts and future business parks have appeared.

Town and country

The area is made up of a village, Luc, and small town, La Primaube, providing an unrivalled setting on the edge of the county town, Rodez. Luc-la-Primaube is hugely proud of its vibrant economic fabric in terms of agriculture, trade, crafts and services. What makes it even more appealing is the scope and diversity of its community networks, exciting sports clubs, quality cultural and leisure facilities.

Saint-Maurice de Luc Church

The ancient parts of Saint-Maurice de Luc Church, which were preserved during extensive work in the 19th century, seem to date back to the second half of the 15th century. The Planèzes family chapel lies east of the southern transept.

The church was extended in 1887 and 1888 by the region’s architect Henry Pons to form a uniform, symmetrical building in a Neo-Gothic style.
