There are all kinds of ways to explore Rodez old town be it going solo with a free map from Tourist Information, an audioguide or on a guided tour. The choice is yours!
One of the most beautiful landmarks you’ll see in Rodez is Armagnac House. This 16th century building is spectacular for several reasons. First and foremost, its façade blends several styles making it unique. Pay close attention!
Benoit House dates back to the 15th century and couldn’t be closer to Rodez Cathedral. The cathedral’s canons lived there at the time. Visitors are now allowed to go through a vaulted porch into the internal courtyard. Make the most of it!
The cathedral isn’t the only Rodez landmark in red sandstone, Saint Amans Church is too. The Neo-Romanesque church in the city dates back to the 18th century. Explore its fascinating history!
